Seismic Performance of Precast Concrete Double-Column Piers Based on UHPC Reinforcement

PrecastPrecast concreteConcrete bridge piers have the advantages of fast construction speed, less traffic interference and good durability, which has become one of the research hotspots in the field of bridges in recent years. However, there are still some problems with precastPrecast spandrel bridge piers. To this end, this paper proposes a new type of prefabricatedPrefabricated panels assembled bridge pier connection with steelSteel lap-UHPCUltra-High Performance Concrete (UHPC) wet joint connection, produces two prefabricated concreteConcrete double-column pier specimens and one cast-in-place concreteConcrete double-column pier specimen, and carries out the quasi-static force test. The test results show that the failure area of precastPrecast assembled double-column pier specimen is concentrated in the top of the pier, and the bottom of the pier is strengthened because of UHPCUltra-High Performance Concrete (UHPC), and the plastic hinge moves up at the bottom of the pier column, and the pier crack develops sufficiently.
