Business Models and Inclusive Design
摘要
The development and deployment of services and products is often the purview of business and entrepreneurship in terms of delivering them to target users for remuneration. The business model canvas is a common and practical method of defining nine economic viability elements of a business. Missing from this business definition approach are other necessary factors that may affect and/or improve this viability including environmental, social and inclusion. Creating equivalent factors for inclusion that can be matched to and overlayed with the nine economic factors provides a way of using the business model canvas for inclusive business development and definition. Using an example of a podcasting business, matching economic and inclusive layers are described through the nine elements of the business model canvas.
