The Future of Operational Codes
摘要
The current status of each previously identified operational codes is presented, pointing out problems that need to be solved in the future. North Korea, lacking communication with an unreliable negotiating partner (the United States), is now a nuclear power that will not denuclearize. Americans failed to adopt Hawai’i’s cultural code, as promoted by Barack Obama, and now are led by a dishonorable president Donald Trump. Democracies are backsliding, not living up to their operational codes. The Asian Way assisted in calming border disputes between Cambodia and Thailand, while the Pacific Way explains how Fiji reinstituted democracy and assisted in lessening internal conflict in the Solomon Islands. Instead of international equilibrium, the world is engulfed in clashes within and between cultures of distinctly different civilizations. The era of war crimes impunity has arrived. Global governance continues to operate piecemeal, threatened by nationalism. The world in chaos awaits replacement operational codes.
