The tourism sector generates significant profits every year and occupies an important place in the economy. Tourism offers to people themselves are no less important. Modern tourism is not enough to offer the best hotels, great prices or attractive programs, it must be adapted to different people. Therefore, universal design of accessible tourism becomes very important. There are approximately 1.3 billion people with severe disabilities worldwide, which is 16% of the world’s population. People with different disabilities face different problems when traveling. Deaf people face such problems as limited information accessibility, do not provide information in sign language or visual alternatives, and so on. Disabled people, including deaf people, play an important role in tourism. Tourism services contribute to their social integration and well-being. The study revealed that an understandable way of presenting information is of great importance for this group of respondents, for example, using visual signs, subtitles and sign language interpreters, it is also worth noting that the majority of deaf people in tourism lack accessible sources of information, so it is important to implement solutions that would improve their experience. Improving these areas should become a priority in promoting the active participation of deaf people and ensuring their inclusion in public life.
