The study aims to assess the adaptation of public spaces for disabled people to leisure activities in the city. The study revealed that public spaces are very important to informants, they are places where informants spend their free time socializing, engaging in activities that are relevant and enjoyable to them. Although public places in the city are very important and relevant to informants, most of the respondents stated that these spaces are not properly adapted to the needs of disabled people. Most often, informants encounter unadopted infrastructure, such as untidy sidewalks, high curbs, unadopted opportunities to move freely. Public transport and lack of technology also cause problems in spending their free time meaningfully. Although the infrastructure is improving, some places are being repaired slowly and do not have time to catch up with the changing needs of users and the surrounding space.
