Evaluation of Travelers’ Experience as Tourism Service Users in the Context of Smart Technologies

Tourism, as one of the main economic sectors, is growing over time. Smart technologies help tourists from the beginning of organizing their trip from the beginning to the end. Use of smart technologies has become more and more convenient and cheaper entertainment for travelers. There are many ways to travel, one of which is independent travel without using the services of agencies. Nowadays, tourists are becoming more independent and demanding, with individual needs and expectations. Travelers are interested in social media posts that inspire them and cause admiration and joy. The aim of this study is to evaluate the traveler as a user of tourism services in the context of smart technologies. In order to assess this, a theoretical literature review was conducted and a survey of travelers was organized. As a result, the study revealed that the use of smart technologies makes it easier to travel and navigate in new places, but also poses challenges, such as data security.
