Educational Leadership and Social Responsibility in the Digital Transformation Era: Towards Sustainable Education

This research investigates the function of educational leadership in augmenting the interactive relationship between local communities and educational institutions within the framework of digital transformation. The objective of the study is to assess the significance of community engagement in the educational process, examining its diverse manifestations that extend beyond mere financial contributions to include fostering community awareness regarding the value of education and enhancing its quality. Additionally, the research emphasizes the role of educational leadership in inspiring community support for education and guiding collaborative efforts aimed at bolstering students’ intellectual security and safeguarding societal stability, particularly during critical periods such as the COVID-19 pandemic. Utilizing a descriptive-analytical methodology, the study offers a thorough examination of the various dimensions of community involvement in education, concentrating on the factors that influence this participation. It also seeks to identify the challenges encountered by educational leadership in advancing social responsibility amidst the era of digital transformation. This analysis encompasses the role of leadership in facilitating sustainable education through the activation of partnerships between educational institutions and local communities, employing digital technologies as a means to improve educational quality. The findings indicate that educational leadership serves as a pivotal component in encouraging community engagement in the educational process, highlighting the necessity of harnessing digital transformation to fulfill the objectives of sustainable education and to cultivate an educational environment that aligns with the rapid changes characterizing the contemporary era.
