摘要

The study posited that organizational effectiveness is a fundamental concept reflecting an organization’s ability to respond effectively and efficiently to both hostile and friendly environmental demands while achieving its specified objectives. This paper aimed to examine the dimensions of organizational effectiveness, which serve as critical indicators for evaluating institutional performance. It investigated the degree to which these dimensions enhance administrative effectiveness, thereby fostering institutional excellence and competitiveness, particularly within higher education institutions. The analysis focused on three primary dimensions of organizational effectiveness: goal achievement, employee satisfaction, and adaptability. A review of the literature was conducted regarding these dimensions, incorporating contemporary theoretical frameworks in management and organization as essential components of the evaluation process. Findings from the study revealed a robust relationship between organizational effectiveness and clarity in strategic goals, administrative efficiency, and leadership effectiveness. Furthermore, a significant factor was employees’ perceptions of their work environment and their involvement in the decision-making process. The findings further emphasize the significance of organizational flexibility in maintaining an organization's sustainability and its capacity to respond swiftly to rapid shifts in environmental and technological conditions. Recommendations arising from this research highlight the necessity for investment in a management culture that is both highly effective and enhanced by heightened leadership capabilities. Furthermore, it advocates for adaptable management that regards change and development as continuous processes aimed at achieving greater organizational effectiveness and sustaining institutional performance.
