The Impact of Critical Success Factors of Business Intelligence on Project Managers’ Skills in the Jordanian Telecommunications Sector
摘要
The study investigates the influence of critical success factors of business intelligence on project managers’ competencies in the Jordanian telecommunication sector, adopting a quantitative approach based on survey data from 156 project managers analyzed through multiple regression in SPSS, exhibiting a highly significant positive relationship between CSFBI and key managerial competencies, including technical, conceptual, political, and human skills, thus adding to the literature an empirical demonstration of how BI enhances managerial effectiveness, and generating practical implications that organizations that fully integrate CSFBI gain improved decision-making and operational efficiency, emphasizing the strategic necessity of BI adoption in managerial development, with a call for further research that explores moderating and mediating contextual factors for a more complete understanding of this relationship. Findings indicate that firms effectively leveraging CSFBI realize enhanced project management capabilities, better leadership, and faster responsiveness to market changes; hence, it is very instrumental to align BI strategies with managerial skill development for maximum organizational performance in the competitive telecommunications industry.
