The study aimed to explore “the role of artificial intelligence in enhancing the efficiency of digital transformation leadership within the Palestinian police force.” It employed a mixed-methods approach, utilizing interviews as a research tool with a sample of ten leaders and decision-makers from various specialized departments within the Palestinian police. The findings highlighted the necessity of improving police operations by freeing up officers’ time to focus on more critical tasks, enhancing communication with the public, and building trust between the police and the community. Moreover, it emphasized the importance of combating crime more effectively through the analysis of big data to identify crime patterns, predict risks, and attempt to prevent crime before it occurs, thereby improving decision-making. The study recommended providing comprehensive training in the fundamentals of artificial intelligence, while considering the ethical implications associated with this field. Additionally, the establishment of a simulation center at the police academy in Arba’a was suggested to enhance training and development capabilities. Efforts to strengthen partnerships and collaboration with various stakeholders are essential, especially since the police force is still in a phase of growth and development. Furthermore, there are ongoing efforts to enhance digital services and technology within police work, aiming to improve performance and meet the needs of the global community.
