In order to increase the resistance of lime coatings, it is proposed to introduce a modifying additive into the formulation - a polysilicate solution obtained by mixing liquid glass and silicic acid sol. Information is given on the method for choosing a lime composition filler intended for the restoration of historical buildings. The variability of the strength index of a lime composite with the use of marshalite, sand and microcalcite as a filler is analyzed. It was found that the compressive strength of the lime composite with the use of microcalcite as a filler is higher compared to the strength of the composite on sand and marshalite. The reliability of determining the strength of lime composites was analyzed. It is suggested that the choice of filler should also be carried out taking into account its influence on the variability of the quality indicators of the final product.
