This chapter is similar to the previous one. We consider the leafwise complex of the dual-conormal currents (the elements of the continuous dual space of the space of conormal currents). Like the conormal sequence, the dual-conormal sequence induces a long exact sequence in cohomology, and the corresponding sequence in reduced cohomology splits into short exact sequences. A description of the left and right terms of this short exact sequence is also given, as well as the action induced by the flow on them. This allows us to compute the contribution of the dual-conormal currents supported on the preserved leaves to the trace formula.
