Crops or agriculture cultivation is mandatory in scenarios where there is infertility, soil erosion and environmental constraints. Combining technology like Internet of Things (IOT) with hydroponics is one of the approaches. It is also a fact that water contains a large amount of nutrients that can be required by plants to grow. This method of using hydrophilic nutrients and stacking crops solves problems of the traditional farming particularly in dry climate and during off season [26]. The remote monitoring makes harvesters keep alert to the status and receive timely alerts when needed, and the automation generalizes the human errors and reduce worker’s workload. This system as a whole is, over all, more productive, efficient and sustainable than conventional agricultural systems.
