The ASSIST project, supported within the Italian PRIN (Research Program of National Interest) program linked to PNRR (National Program of Resilience and Resistance) after COVID19 disease period, is aimed at the development of exoskeletons with modular-structure portable cable-driven systems for easy wearing on arms and legs in limb motion assistance in rehabilitation applications and elderly exercise. The ASSIST exoskeleton designs are developed from conceptual solutions that are further elaborated in the activities of this project towards efficient solutions with user-oriented features for practical implementation of a market product in near future. The feasibility and operation performance are planned in experimental testing activity even in medical frames for design validation and operation characterization using suitable prototypes as demonstrators expected as project products.

摘要
