Endurance Tales: Sadness and Loss
摘要
Chapter 3 presents accounts of sadness and grief in response to loss. These include experiences of death bereavement, but also ambiguous loss for missing people, places and material objects. Temporal phenomenology reveals how this process endures over time, with feelings of haunting, missing, wishing and nostalgia connecting a person’s past, present and future. Narrating these tales, participants composed accounts of regressive decline, progressive redemption and flashes of hindsight wisdom.
