Intentionality and the Acts of Consciousness
摘要
This chapter examines thinking and intentionalityIntentionality as the directing and movement of the light of consciousnessConsciousnesslight of consciousness. Thinking is analyzed as a central component in the dynamic interplay between consciousness and knowledge, both of which contribute to the formation of the Ego. It is then reinterpreted as the movement of the inner light of consciousnessConsciousnesslight of consciousness. As the path from consciousness to the object, thinking is presented as a way to truth, comparable to the tariqahSufismtariqah in SufismSufism—a journey that moves from the external world toward the eidetic structureEidoseidetic structure, the essence of the object. In this view, the stages of thinking comprise knowledge, vision, and the “truth of the Truth.” These stages form a spiralSpiral of phenomenological radii of phenomenological radii, representing the subjective e-axis of the coordinate systemCoordinate system. Intentionality is defined as the mobilization of consciousness’s inherent energy and its focused orientation toward the eidetic structureEidoseidetic structure of the object. To clarify this movement of light, the analysis draws an analogy with the laws of thermodynamicsThermodynamics. The study concludes that while all intentionalityIntentionality involves thinking, not all thinking is intentional. Finally, the chapter distinguishes between innerIntentionalityinner impetus and external impetusIntentionalityexternal impetus, emphasizing that only the inner impetusIntentionalityinner impetus can guide intentionalityIntentionality toward the LogosLogos.
