Reason, Logos, and the Path of Truth
摘要
Reason, as the first noema of consciousness, can function and develop only in relation to consciousness itself. Since consciousness is rooted in the divine realm, while reason governs only within the material world, we illustrate their interaction through a coordinate systemCoordinate system and, due to the multi-directional character of consciousness, compare its trajectory to an atomic modelAtomatomic model. As a manifestation of consciousness—the realm of ideas—reason determines the capacity for these ideas to become materialized. In this sense, reason systematizes the results of Sufi phenomenological reductionSufi phenomenological reduction, because it reflects the degree to which ideas are embodied and aligned with reality. Human beings, as creators within the possibilities granted by the Absolute CreatorAbsoluteAbsolute Creator, employ reason in the process of creativity. The chapter therefore asks: can reason alter the realization of an initial idea and its noematic structureNoemanoematic structure? What role do destinyDestiny and talent, as the essence of this structure, play in human life? Although the realm of reason belongs to the material world, the chapter also highlights its potential to connect, through consciousness, with the Essence of Truth and the divine. In this light, the human being is explored between two manifestations of the Creative Essence: logosLogos and reason.
