Introduction
摘要
From mythical automata and mechanical flying machines to the theoretical foundations of computational intelligence, the quest to create artificial life is a story as old as human imagination itself. Ancient texts describe sophisticated mechanical contrivances that, while not autonomous in the modern sense, represented a deep conceptual understanding of advanced, self-moving systems. Centuries later, pioneering thinkers would lay the logical groundwork for the artificial intelligence. This journey from mythological wonder to mathematical precision has culminated in a new era of powerful computational frameworks, including deep networks architectures, leading to large language models and other cutting edge artificial intelligence technologies. In this book, we add this tapestry with Large Numerical Models (LNMs), which leverage advanced algorithms to analyze vast, heterogeneous datasets and provide actionable insights without the limitations of hallucination, bridging the gap between historical fantasy and a future of machine-driven intelligence.
