Factors Influencing the Post-Implementation User Satisfaction of SAP-ERP in Java Island
摘要
This paper explores the major factors that lead to user success with ERP technology implementation focusing on SAP software. The research investigates user satisfaction factors in SAP deployment procedures for Java Island businesses operating in Indonesia. US (User satisfaction) together with TRN (training) and customization form the core topics for this research study, along with the adoption of BPA (Business Processes Adoption), PU (perceived Usefulness), and SA (strategic alignment). The factors evaluation measurement used a Likert scale within a Google Forms survey administered to SAP consultants and staff members who spent at least six months with SAP. Based on the hypothesis development, testing that PU (Perceived Usefulness) affects US (User Satisfaction), where users are more satisfied when they find SAP useful in their daily tasks. Business Process Adoption (BPA) is hypothesized to affect PU (Perceived Usefulness) as the companies must adapt to the facilitated workflows for increased efficiency. The research also investigates if training makes users more satisfied with using SAP, as well-trained users tend to adapt better to SAP. In addition, factor Customization is also studied as a factor that affects US (user satisfaction) to make sure that it meets the needs of the company. The report looks at SA (Strategic Alignment) as well as its effect on US (user satisfaction); however, the results indicate that the benefit was not immediate. US (User satisfaction) benefits from PU (perceived usefulness) alongside training programs, customized solutions, and the implementation of business procedures. The research confirms that proper ERP implementation requires direct user training because this method boosts system adoption while reducing resistance and promoting better organizational performance.
