This chapter presents a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of the global landscape of electrification research over the past 20 years, using data from the Scopus database and community discovery techniques through VOSviewer. This methodology identifies key topics, influential studies, prominent authors, and key journals, specifying the collaborative networks and thematic clusters that shape the field and its structure. Based on the most dynamic research communities, the chapter studies important challenges such as disparities in energy access, sustainability, infrastructure development, and policies, while examining regional variations and gaps. Technological trends are explored, including decentralized electrification, renewable energy integration, and smart grids. Finally, the study considers the socioeconomic impacts of electrification, such as economic growth, improved quality of life, and reduced inequality, demonstrating the interdisciplinary nature of this field of research.

摘要
