Background Analysis of Tak Lelo Ledung as a Representation of Local Culture
摘要
Tak Lelo Ledung animation is one of the animated works that uses a typical Nusantara background. The background in this animation not only functions as an aesthetic element, but also as a form of characteristic or cultural symbol that reflects the identity of the people in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze how the background in Tak Lelo Ledung animation represents local culture. The research method used is qualitative analysis using Roland Barthes’ semiotic approach. The results of the study show that the background in the animation contains a very distinctive cultural meaning, such as the school environment, homes, and cemeteries. This study confirms that the background in Tak Lelo Ledung not only functions as a visual support, but also as a narrative medium that strengthens cultural identity in animation. Thus, the use of backgrounds applied to local traditions and aesthetics can be an important strategy in cultural revitalization through digital media.
