At the present time a development of automated control systems for various vehicle units and systems is an urgent task. One of these systems is anti-lock braking system (ABC), which provides a traffic safety during the braking. For a variety of advantages, P-controllers are used to regulate such systems. To ensure the effective operation of the P-controller it is necessary to choose right coefficient of a proportional term. This article examines the influence of various parameters on this coefficient and makes recommendations for choosing its value.
