Lecture 10. Mossbauer Effect: Diagonal Processes with Respect to Phonon Occupation Numbers
摘要
In this Lecture we provide the theoretical explanation of the main features of the Mossbauer effectEffectMossbauer effectMossbauerMossbauer effect (including the width and the position of the spectral lines). Our analysis is based on the investigation of the diagonal processes with respect to phonon occupation numbersNumberoccupation numberOccupation number. We get the expression for the Debye–WallerDebye–WallerDebye–Waller factorFactorDebye–Waller factor factor and find the temperature dependence for the probability of the phononless processes.
