Microscopic Imaging of Redox and Electrochemical Reactions with Light
摘要
This chapter is devoted to the description of optical microscopic techniques used to investigate electrochemical reactions. The first section is focused on fluorescence microscopy and its main configurations in order to image or control an electrochemical reaction involving emissive or fluorogenic species. In a second section, other optical techniques based on reflection, transmission, or scattering modes are described with practical examples of studies. In both parts, a special attention is brought to spatial and time resolution limits as well as sensitivity issues.
