We have introduced the fundamentals of quantum computing, machine learning, and quantum machine learning. Here, we introduce the applications of quantum machine learning in materials science. Overall, quantum machine learning is still in its infancy; nonetheless, a few impressive applications of the noisy intermediate scale quantum (NISQ)-era quantum computers have been explored, and we will briefly discuss them.
