This book contains the results and lessons learned during the research project “Team up for a circular economy: A collaborative approach between farmers, retailers, and consumers for less food wastage” (hereinafter, “Team Up for Less Food Waste”). The project was funded by a grant from the Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digitization, CNCS—UEFISCDI, Romania, project number PN-III-P4-PCE-2021-0538, within PNCDI III. The project was implemented by a team of researchers from Babes-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca, Romania, at the Faculty of Business between 2022 and 2024. This brief presentation of the premises and purpose of the “Team Up for Less Food Waste” project aims to explain why the project was necessary and what its ambitions are.
