Geographical Information System (GIS) and Remote Sensing (RS) have become one of the most versatile tools for collecting, analyzing, storing and retrieving satellite derived agricultural data at high resolution. GIS & RS enables quick and precise monitoring of crop health and development stages and can help leverage productivity at micro level. The application of high-resolution drones has led to precise and accurate mapping of soil conditions and crop health and hence have significantly increased self-reliance in the field of agriculture and farming.
