Plantar fasciitis is a common foot pathology, often recalcitrant to non-operative management. Surgical interventions include debridement, open release, percutaneous, mini-open, and endoscopic plantar fascia release. Traditional open approach requires longer recovery and produces mixed results. Growing demand for minimally invasive procedures makes endoscopic procedures appealing. Originally described more than 30 years ago, endoscopic plantar fascia release has evolved with the introduction of novel techniques utilizing and instrumentation. Uni-portal, two-portal, multi-portal, and dual one-sided techniques have been described. This chapter describes two endoscopic techniques for surgical management of plantar fasciitis.
