The new global development roadmap, adopted at the 70th United Nations General Assembly in September 2015 in New York (United States), has been named the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Since then, it has become the fundamental reference point for global development through 2030. It was made clear that changing the world requires urgent cooperation and participation among governments, businesses, international organizations, world leaders, academics, and citizens.
