摘要

The present work investigates the DC electricalElectrical conductivityConductivity of polymer compositesPolymer composites based on polypyrrolePolypyrrole (Poly(Py)) particles dispersed in different polymer matrices. Six series of composites, with two- and three-dimensional structures, were analyzed at room temperature. The experimental conductivity data were interpreted using the generalized effective mediumGeneralized effective medium (GEM) theory and the Mamunya model. These models yield satisfactory correlation with the experimental data when their parameters are treated as adjustable. However, the fitted exponents are not universal, indicating a dependence on the specific characteristics of the composite system under investigation.
