A Study on Intervention Program to Improve Mathematics Education for Visually Impaired Students
摘要
The Fourth Industrial Revolution has brought about changes to industrial and social structures around the world through the convergence of various innovative technologies such as big data, artificial intelligence, robots, and the Internet of Things. As a result, the ability to analyze big data to derive valuable results and extract useful information is rapidly emerging as one of the main goals of school mathematics. For visually impaired students, mathematics is equally applied to the common curriculum because its content is presented concisely. However, because it still relies on visual information, learning motivation and academic achievement are often lowered. This study proposes a mathematics intervention program aimed at improving learning motivation and academic performance for visually impaired students. The program provides tools that ensure equal access to mathematical content, enhance engagement, and support intuitive comprehension. By fostering an inclusive learning environment, it enables effective communication between sighted and visually impaired learners, promoting equitable education.
