Secure Medical Data in Internet of Medical Things (IoMT)
摘要
Medical images incorporate sensitive information regarding patients making them not only but priory focus on security and confidentiality. The project anticipates addressing the ongoing challenge of securing medical images in the future landscape of IoMT. Traditional encryption techniques, hindered by data size limitations, redundancy, and capacity constraints, are projected to face obsolescence in safeguarding e-health data during open channel transmissions. This paper presents a secure hybrid encryption system for medical images which combines the advantages of SHA-256 hashing along with the trait of chaotic encryption. As a component of the method, the logistic array map is generated through the chaotic map from the SHA-256 hash key, and finally bitwise XOR with itself to attain the hybrid encryption key to encrypt the medical image with it. The proposed approach presents highly secure integrity while ensuring efficient encryption and decryption processes. Experimental results indicate that it provides an NPCR of 99.43% in total over the encrypted images.
