Archaeo Shame. A Port Housing Archaeology of La Boca del Riachuelo, Buenos Aires, Argentina

Housing in a port is fundamental and complementary to barracks, factories and rails of functionalist space. Seen in this way, the Port Housing has a history of development and decay linked to the architectural and socioeconomic scale of the intermodal connection town to which it refers. This paper seeks to reflect the state of housing of the La Boca neighborhood, presenting the situation of people living in historical wooden multi-family constructions. In this way, experiences are presented considering state management and archaeology.
