Diagnostic Tests for Coagulation Factor Disorders and von Willebrand Disease
摘要
Laboratory data provide a valuable diagnostic and prognostic window into a patient’s clinical presentation. Proper interpretation of lab data requires understanding the advantages and limitations of assay methodologies in general and in the context of each patient’s unique situation. The questions in this chapter highlight issues related to appropriate selection and interpretation of coagulation assays used to evaluate bleeding and thrombosis risk and issues related to hemostasis monitoring.
