Hatrurite is one of the most important components of the Portland clinker. Ca3SiO5 evaporation was studied by the Knudsen effusion mass spectrometryKnudsen effusion mass spectrometry in the temperatureTemperature range of 1804–2208 K. The partial pressures of the vapor species (Ca, CaO, SiO, SiO2, Si2O2, CaSiO3, O, O2) over Ca3SiO5 have been determined for the first time. The obtained oxide activities made it possible to determine the mixing energy in hatrurite, as well as the enthalpy and entropy of mixing. The presented high-temperatureTemperature thermodynamicThermodynamic data is consistent with the available experimental information.
