Short service life for the bellBell of CDQ (Coke Dry Quenching) charging deviceCharging device brings about significant maintenance workload for coking plants; it is particularly prominent in large-scale CDQ. In this paper, service life of the bellBell is analyzed, and the structure of the bellBell is optimized according to the characteristics of wear damage. New type bellBell is developed by the form of linerLiner protection, and traditional surface overlay welding is replaced. There is no bolt connection between the linersLiner, which can realize rapid replacement for linersLiner. Through actual verification on site, main problems of the bellBell may be solved effectively, for instance, service life, maintenance workload, and replacement frequency. After the use of new type bellBell, production cost is reduced to improve economic benefits for enterprises.
