This chapter is the development of the Pentecostal theology of materiality by paying attention to the historical and cultural elements of the same. To do this, there is a need to explore African theology in an African cultural context considering the subject of materiality. In addition to having a broader understanding of an African culture of materiality. There is also a need to differentiate the Christian practices and cultural practices considering materiality. This chapter aims to construct a theology that will be relevant to an African cultural context.
