A Study on the Relationship Between Conscious Decision-Making Systems and BDI Architecture -Focusing on Fusion with Plants-
摘要
The authors are continuing their research on the Consciousness Decision Making System (CDMS) in relation to bio-DX. Though CDMS consists of three modules - agilor, contemplator, and mediator -, the configuration of the contemplator module had not been given much thought. The use of the BDI architecture, a theory of intention, aims to use for the deliberative module in this paper. Furthermore, this study focuses on plants as an application example of CDMS. Plants have a modular body structure, each module makes decisions in response to stimuli from the environment, and there is a possibility that their behavior can be explained by CDMS. This study proposes incorporating the BDI architecture into CDMS in the process of discussing the relationship between plants and CDMS, As a result, they were able to show that CDMS is a framework that can lead to a wide range of applications.
