Osteoarthritis is a degenerative condition affecting millions of people worldwide, causing pain, inflammation, and progressive loss of joint function. Despite advancements in pharmacological and surgical treatments, durable and disease-modifying solutions remain elusive. The application of an artificial matrix—a biocompatible scaffold designed to repair or replace damaged cartilage tissue—has emerged as a promising strategy for cartilage regeneration and biomechanical restoration. This chapter presents the clinical experience with artificial matrix application in osteoarthritis treatment, encompassing the technique’s foundational principles, patient outcomes, and observed benefits and limitations. Additionally, it explores future perspectives, including ongoing research into scaffold fabrication technologies and translational potential for broader biomedical applications. By integrating clinical cases, biomechanical analysis, and experimental insights, this chapter offers a comprehensive overview of artificial matrix therapy, advancing the path toward regenerative and functional recovery in osteoarthritis management.

摘要
