This chapter examines the role of self-efficacy as a central driver of innovation, engagement, and performance in individuals and organizations. Distinguishing self-efficacy from self-confidence emphasizes that belief in one’s ability to perform specific tasks fuels resilience, creativity, and goal achievement. Drawing on psychological theories and organizational research, this chapter highlights how diversity and neurodiversity—including traits linked to autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and dyslexia—enhance collective intelligence and problem-solving capacity. It argues that fostering self-efficacy and embracing cognitive diversity create conditions for sustainable innovation and organizational success, transforming individuality into a shared strategic advantage.
