Conclusion—What Edumetrics Still Has to Teach Us
摘要
This chapter positions edumetrics as a framework to understand how education drives long-term prosperity, emphasizing that it is not years of schooling but learning outcomes that matter. Beyond technical skills, the true mission of education is to instill from the earliest age both the mastery of fundamentals and the capacity to “learn how to learn”. Each student who drops out represents not only a personal loss but also a collective erosion of economic potential and civic vitality. By linking measurement to action, edumetrics reframes education as a foundation for adaptability, equity and resilience in a rapidly changing world. Ultimately, it offers both a diagnostic tool and a strategic compass for building human capital in the twenty-first century.
