Subsection of Emergency Techcnologies is AI, Image processing as well as Image Segmentation. Image processing is an important tool for analyzing image data, tracking objects in images, and diagnosing damage to materials and machines. It isimportant for analyzing the equipment in engineering because of maintenance, reliability, stability. This research deals with the review of image processing methods, especially for image data segmentation. The aim of the research was to create a new software based on graph cut. The results of the image segmentation research were segmentation of machine elements, vehicles and technical engineering data. For the purposes of segmentation research, own software based on the graph cutting method was created.
