As we await to transition to Society 5.0, in other words a super smart society which is driven essentially by technology driven, the role of education springs up as of paramount significance. The only way to reaching the milestone of Society 5.0 is the coalition of technology and the values associated with a human-centered society. The study aims to explore the innovative educational practices that will contribute to the making of Society 5.0 and also bridge the gap between technology and human potentiality. The research also intends to aims to reckon the role of educational institutions in merging technology and also bring about essential skills of creativity, Innovation, critical thinking and problem solving. The research will also provide recommendations foster the making of Society 5.0. The study combines qualitative as well as quantitative data to draw facts and implications. In understanding the gaps, the study also provides recommendations to all the educators, policy makers as well as the common man to be conscious of their role and provide an ambience for creating an ecosystem that will facilitate students to thrive in a tech driven society and also without holding at stake the core attributes of a human. The paper intends to produce a comprehensive framework for employing innovative educational practices that line up with the formation of Society 5.0, ascertaining that both technology and human centred developments are nurtured for the generations to come.
