Conclusion
摘要
Synthesizing the cases, the conclusion chapter identifies recurring pitfalls of pro-bitumen discourse—affective domestication of hydrocarbons, symbolic nationalization, and populist vilification—each of which diverts attention from emissions intensity, uneven risks, and justice claims. It proposes discursive interventions that foreground transparency and lived effects and argues that “just transition” can anchor broad coalitions by linking care, dignity, and reliability to concrete decarbonization pathways. The chapter closes by outlining research agendas on platform-mediated petro-publics, ESG-driven greenwashing, and connective leadership in transition movements.
