Sustainability is a word on the agenda in several aspects of modern societies. With regard to the food component, it is increasingly important to combat food waste, not only due to the imbalance it creates in global food needs, but also due to the effect of producing waste that has to be processed and has a negative environmental effect. This paper presents a multiplatform mobile application that aims to promote the fight against food waste, while promoting healthy and sustainable cuisine based on typical recipes from the Trás-os-Montes region. This approach promotes the fundamental triangle composed of the vertices of sustainability, health and regional promotion.
