Development of an Augmented Reality Guide for a LASER Cutting Machine
摘要
This article presents the development of an Augmented Reality (AR) application designed to serve as a practical guide for operating a LASER cutting machine in a prototyping laboratory. Recognizing the limitations of traditional guides, such as manuals and video, the application utilizes AR technology to provide an immersive and interactive learning experience. The system projects virtual 3D objects onto the machine, offering step-by-step instructions for safe and efficient operation. The developed platform allows users to customize their work easily, allowing the addition of new markers, 3D models, and modifications to the instruction sequence. A usability evaluation was conducted with students and staff, demonstrating overall satisfaction with the application.
