This article explores the relationship between data quality and compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), highlighting its importance in the digital age and regulatory environment. It addresses the challenge of maintaining accurate and secure data amid increasing information volume, analyzing how data quality can boost GDPR compliance and operational efficiency. Using the PDCA cycle (Plan, Do, Check, Act) as a methodology, the study provides a systematic approach to improving data management, ensuring its accuracy, relevance, and security. It concludes that applying the PDCA cycle not only facilitates compliance with the GDPR but also promotes a culture of data quality, enhancing companies’ resilience and competitive advantage.
