The pressing needs and challenges instigated by the Covid-19 pandemic have accentuated the urgency to reassess Supply Chain Management (SCM) in the healthcare sector. This article focuses on the digital transformation of Healthcare Supply Chain (HSC), with an emphasis on the implementation of Business Intelligence (BI) solutions. Configured as a narrative review, it conducts a comprehensive analysis of references, synthesizing them into a reflection on the impact of BI to enhance operational efficiency and reinforce strategic decision-making in healthcare. In this context, it seeks to highlight the benefits and challenges of adopting BI, proposing strategies for effective implementation. Contributing to the literature, it underscores the imperative to recruit qualified professionals and adopt appropriate technologies to maximize the implementation of BI solutions, emphasizing the importance of the organizational context. Thus, this research contributes to a more profound understanding of the challenges and opportunities inherent in BI implementation in healthcare, fostering more effective and sustainable SCM.
