The 6G Network and Its Impact on the Energy Crisis: Systematic Review
摘要
The development of 6G as a technological advance can affect the energy crisis in many aspects. First, the 6G network is expected to provide higher energy efficiency compared to current 4G and 5G technologies. Secondly, 6G could also improve energy management in network infrastructures, which would reduce operating costs and increase sustainability. This could be achieved through the adoption of more efficient transmission and reception technologies, such as active array antennas, new modulation and coding techniques, and the use of more energy-efficient semiconductors. 6G could have a significant impact on alleviating the energy crisis, thanks to improvements in energy efficiency and energy management in network infrastructures, in addition, they could significantly reduce operating costs and, therefore, energy costs. Likewise, the implementation of smart sensor networks could provide an improvement in energy efficiency in devices connected to the network, which could help reduce energy demand.
