Mnemonic Design with GenAI for Digital Security Management
摘要
This paper introduces a novel and systematic approach to enhance the memorization and recall of complex numeric codes by leveraging generative AI to produce blended visual mnemonics. The technique encodes numbers as memorable composite images, blending occupations, organisms, and objects to represent numeric values. This approach helps balance code complexity and memorability, making numeric codes both easier to use and more secure. Visual mnemonics using our approach have broad applicability, benefiting children, older adults, users with memory impairments, and users under high-pressure conditions who must recall crucial numeric codes, such as passwords, PINs, or private cryptographic keys.
